驴子对老虎说：‘草是蓝色的。

The tiger replied, "No, the grass is green ."
老虎回答说："不，草是绿色的。
The discussion became heated, and the two decided to submit the issue to arbitration, so they approached the lion.
讨论变得激烈起来，两人决定将这个问题提交仲裁，所以他们去找狮子。
As they approached the lion on his throne, the donkey started screaming: ′′Your Highness, isn't it true that the grass is blue?"
当他们走近王位上的狮子时，驴子开始尖叫："殿下，草不是真的吗？
The lion replied: "If you believe it is true, the grass is blue."
狮子回答说："如果你相信这是真的，草是蓝色的。
The donkey rushed forward and continued: ′′The tiger disagrees with me, contradicts me and annoys me. Please punish him."
驴子冲上前去继续说："老虎不同意我的观点，与我矛盾，惹恼了我。请惩罚他。
The king then declared: ′′The tiger will be punished with 3 days of silence."
国王随后宣布："老虎将被处以3天的沉默。
The donkey jumped with joy and went on his way, content and repeating ′′The grass is blue, the grass is blue…"
驴子高兴地跳了起来，继续他的方式，满足和重复\草是蓝色的，草是蓝色的……"
The tiger asked the lion, "Your Majesty, why have you punished me, after all, the grass is green?"
老虎问狮子："陛下，你为什么惩罚我，毕竟草是绿色的？
The lion replied, ′′You've known and seen the grass is green."
狮子回答说："你已经知道了，看到草是绿色的。
The tiger asked, ′′So why do you punish me?"
老虎问："那你为什么要惩罚我？
The lion replied, "That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is degrading for a brave, intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with an ass, and on top of that, you came and bothered me with that question just to validate something you already knew was true!"
狮子回答说："这与草是蓝还是绿的问题无关。惩罚是因为像你这样勇敢、聪明的生物浪费时间与混在一起是有辱人格的，最重要的是，你来打扰我这个问题只是为了验证你已经知道的是真的！
